Derek’s admiration of bicycles inspired his support team to help him receive the training and mentoring required to learn how to repair them. This was no easy feat. Individuals like Derek are rarely encouraged to become productive members of society and he’s had to overcome many obstacles to do so. Derek is now a business owner in Gainesville, Florida, who happily works on bicycles with the ongoing assistance from his devoted support team.
